1. Reaching Out
First of all you will need a quote from us for your specific kitchen.
To do this, either call Jobe on 01384 906 018, or fill out a contact form anywhere on our website so that we can contact you!
2. Home Consultation
Once you have received your quotation and you’re happy with everything you’ve heard so far, you will want to book in for a home consultation. Our home consultations last roughly 15-45 minutes as we talk about the vision for your kitchen, expectations and flick through colour charts to see if there are any that catch your eye! Although, you may already have a colour in mind, in which case we can colour match to Dulux, Valspar, Crown, Johnstones, Tikkurila, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene plus many more other brands.
3. Booking
You’ve made the leap and chose to book in with us for your kitchen respray project. The whole project usually takes 5-10 days depending on the size and complexity of your kitchen and is split into 4 key steps.
Steps Below:
Step 1: Collection
On the first day of your project, we arrive at your home to start carefully dismantling your kitchen and loading it into our van. We mindfully organise all fittings and screws so that we know where everything is when we return to piece it back together. Once the van is loaded and we’re happy that we’ve taken away everything that we can to be sprayed, it is then taken back to the lab where the magic starts to happen.
Step 2: Home side painting
For most kitchens, there are usually elements of it that cannot be removed for various reasons, such as end panels that are grouted into the floor or wall tiles, plinths that are supporting the cabinets themselves – we’ve seen it all! But not to worry, we return after the collection of the kitchen to professionally hand finish these parts so that when the rest of the kitchen returns, it pieces together beautifully! This part of the process usually takes a full day to complete.
Step 3: Lab side painting
The Lab is where sparks fly and the real transformation happens. The team first start by cleaning and degreasing your kitchen thoroughly (and we mean thoroughly) so that it is then ready to be worked on with no contaminants. We then mindfully examine each and every piece of your kitchen to decide on what to do next. Depending on the style of your kitchen, it may need the plastic wrap to be stripped, existing lacquer to be removed, bare wood to be stainblocked, holes to be filled flush, hardware removed, surface to be sanded… you get the point!
Once all elements of your kitchen are cleaned, prepared and quality checked – they are then ready to be sent from the preparation room to the spray booth where they will have at least 2 sprayed coats of primer and at least 2 sprayed top coats, of which will be cleanable and durable to meet the demands of your kitchen environment.
This part of the process is usually what takes the most time as it is where all the deep work happens. Expect us to be working on your kitchen in the Lab for 5-10 days.
Step 4: Reinstallation
Once all above steps are complete, it’s time to bring your kitchen back and piece it together. During this step, we recommend that you don’t peek while the team is at work reinstalling your fresh new kitchen so that you get the full WOW factor when it’s complete! We promise you will be amazed with the result. This part of the process usually takes a full day to complete.
Once reinstalled, you will be provided with all relevant information to maintain and clean your newly painted kitchen. Guarantee information will also be provided upon completion of your project.
